This remodel of a kitchen in a Chicago vintage apartment was part of a more extensive remodel of the entire home. The homeowner had the general contractor match the elliptical arches that existed in the entryway at both entrances to the kitchen. A small bedroom off the kitchen was transformed into a small dining area and the entire kitchen was transformed. The owner wanted to keep with the period and style of the 1920's building, so white, shaker style cabinetry was selected in addition to stone tile floors, a stone tile backsplash and granite countertops.
