The goals of this project were to bring natural light into the home by opening up the kitchen to the dining room and the park view, and to maximize the kitchen's storage capacity. The openness of the kitchen and proximity to the dining room demanded sophisticated finishes for a complementary effect.

Many challenges defined the outcome of this kitchen remodeling in a 100-year old Chicago home. A great importance was considered in maintaining the character of the original architecture, while modernizing the design to suit the client's needs.
