Originally the eating area of this kitchen was twice the size of the utility area. In order to better balance and connect the space, a laundry shoot was sacrificed and pipes were moved back to shave off depth of a protruding wall dividing the space. The utilities were rearranged to better serve the pattern of workflow.

The extensive remodeling features all new stained cherry wood cabinetry profiled to match existing millwork in adjacent rooms.
